Please join us in welcoming new Transportation Coordinator Jaime Vindigni. Vindigni joins Byron-Bergen after fourteen years with Rush-Henrietta schools where she began as a bus monitor and worked her way to become a Driver, a Driver Trainer, and Head Driver. 

“I love the transportation industry,” said Vindigni. “I want to get to know the District, hopefully bring in some new ideas and learn from what District is already doing.”

As Transportation Coordinator, Vindigni works with drivers, parents and administrators to ensure safe bus rides and routes, manages daily schedules for field trips and sports trips, and stays informed of any updates in state or federal laws and regulations regarding transportation. 

One area Vindigni want to focus on is Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS). “The bus is an extension of the classroom. We want to support the drivers and the students – we want both to have a successful ride.”

Outside of work, Vindigni has three sons, 21, 5, and 3, and enjoys running and going to the gym with her husband. She was also a competitive body-builder for six years.
