Mrs. Brown came to Byron-Bergen from Avon Central Schools, where she supported students and staff as a literacy coach for three years. Prior to that, she taught in 3rd, 4th, and kindergarten classrooms. While at Byron-Bergen, she served as Elementary School Assistant Principal and Jr./Sr. High School Assistant Principal before her appointment to Director of Instructional Services in July of 2021. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and a Master of Education degree in literacy, earned at the State University of NY at Geneseo. Her administrative coursework was completed at the University of Rochester.
