Congratulations to Mr. Parnapy on being named the FFA District 9 Golden Owl Award winner. One winner is named for each of the ten districts in New York State. The winners are nominated by students or community members.

Parnapy's nominators described him as "an educator that is full of kindness and patience. He is dedicated to providing his students with hands-on learning opportunities that they will remember forever."

"I'm very surprised and very honored," said Parnapy. "There are a lot of amazing agriculture teachers in New York State and I'm proud to be in company of some really great teachers and role models."
