Sr. HS Chorus Concert

On Wednesday, May 29th, the Senior High School vocal ensembles took to the stage for their Spring Concert. After a brief interview with some select performers in which on student describes the vocal groups as "insanely good this year", Jr./Sr. HS Principal Paul Hazard welcomed Choirmaster Joseph Paris, Piano Accompanist Charles Palella, and the Senior Chorale into the spotlight.

The Senior Chorale kicked off the evening with disco cult classic "I Will Survive" with a solo by Rylee Burch, written by A. Anders, P. Astrom, and arranged by M. Brymer. They followed with "O Music" by L. Mason, arranged by D. Rao and "Derniere Danse" by A. Sedraia and P. Koeu. The Chorale then pivoted toward the silver screen with "Lift Me Up" from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arranged by M. Huff and featuring a solo by Leah Mielke and finished off with "This is Me" from The Greatest Showman by B. Pasek and J. Paul, arranged by A. Snyder.

Next up were the Acafellas with a performance of "Besame Mucho" arranged by Reinhart + Weiser followed by Byron-Bergen's vocal ambassadors, The Singing Silhouettes. The Silhouettes started off with "Wana Baraka" arranged by S. Kirchner, "The Tortoise and the Hare" by D. Meader, "The Seal Lullaby" by E. Whitacre, and "Blackbird" by J. Lennon and P. McCartney, arranged by D. Runswick.

Before concluding the evening of music, Mr. Paris recognized all of the graduating seniors and their contributions to the Byron-Bergen vocal music program. The Silhouettes then finished of the concert with "Tarantella" by Z. Randall Stroope.

Congratulations to all of the student musicians and graduating seniors.
