Kids Heart Challenge

On April 13th, students in grades K-5 jumped all over heart disease by participating in The American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge. The Kids Heart Challenge is a fun and exciting event where students learn about their heart while helping others by raising money for the American Heart Association. It prepares students for success through physical and emotional well-being. In addition to their annual jump rope event, students in grades K-5 also learned the skill of Hands-Only CPR during their Physical Education classes. This year the students raised $3,626.90 for the American Heart Association, which funds research, programs and education to fight heart disease and stroke.
