Spirit Week
Seniors win spirit trophy
On Friday, September 23, the students of Byron-Bergen Jr./Sr. High School capped off Spirit Week with an enthusiastic pep rally and the presentation of the Bee Spirit trophies.

The marching band welcomed the school community to the field with some energetic tunes and the Singing Silhouettes opened the ceremonies by singing the national anthem and the school alma mater. Emcee Malachi Smith directed the students through a series of games where grade levels competed for points including tug-of-war, human sculpture, the mascot competition, and the S.A.D.D.-sponsored kaleidoscope glasses obstacle course. At the conclusion of the games, student council representatives announced the winners of the hall decorating contest. These points were added to the over-all scores from the afternoon and, ultimately, the 6th Grade won the Junior High School Bee Spirit Trophy and the seniors won the Senior High School Bee Spirit Trophy. Congratulations, Bees!
