Please join us in welcoming new Elementary School Secretary Jessica McAlister. In this position, she will greet students and parents, sign students in and out of the school, answer phones, create mailings and calendars, register incoming UPK and kindergarten students, and assist Mr. Meister as needed.

“I'm very excited to be a part of the Byron-Bergen School District as I attended and graduated in 2004,” said McAlister. “Both of my sons currently attend Byron-Bergen Elementary.  I love being able to work with kids and watch them grow!”

McAlister earned her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Genesee Community College. Prior to Byron-Bergen, she worked as a secretary at Genesee Community College and worked for almost 10 years in banking.

Outside of work, McAlister enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She lives in Bergen with her husband, Shawn, her two sons, Liam and Owen, and their two dogs, Gibbs and Gus.
