It is a strange time as I look out over the Byron-Bergen campuses and see no kids playing, no sports teams practicing, and no staff out walking on the track. As much as I look forward to a time when the fields will bustle with activity again, for everyone’s safety, the playgrounds, sports fields, and school buildings remain closed.

The good news is that the curve is flattening. I would like to thank everyone for practicing social distancing and staying home. The safest thing we can do now, for ourselves and each other, is keep up the good work and stay home.

I understand this can be difficult and I encourage you to reach out to our Counseling staff for resources or just to talk. And, as always, my staff and I are here to answer any questions and help in any way we can.
