Monday Message from Superintendent Edwards - April 20, 2020

Dear Byron-Bergen students and families,

Just a couple months ago, it would have been inconceivable to me that we would be spending this much time apart. Now, we all know that it is imperative to do so. The safety of our students and community is the number one priority. That said, I’m looking forward to a time when the hallways will be bustling with students and laughter again.

Although the schools remain closed, we are excited to move forward with one Byron-Bergen tradition. This week we are celebrating students who ranked in the top ten of 2020 graduates. This is a major accomplishment which took years of dedication and hard work. I cannot shake these students’ hands in person, but I commend them and send them each a virtual high five. The “Top 10” are being posted throughout the week on the District’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. The full list will be posted to the website on Friday. Please stop by any of these sites to celebrate their accomplishment.

As always, stay safe and take care of yourselves and each other.

Best Wishes,

Mickey Edwards
Byron-Bergen Central School District Superintendent
