BB Elementary is pleased to welcome Taylor Childress to the position of long-term substitute for Third Grade and Erika Paine as Second Grade Teacher.

As a Third Grade Teacher, Ms. C will facilitate productive classroom discussions, creating fun learning experiences, and not compromising rigor. Ms. C is looking forward to her first year teaching and getting to meet her students.

Ms. C earned her Bachelor Degree from Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA in May. She was a teaching assistant at an afterschool program, head summer camp counselor for five years, as well as assistant teacher for 3 years. Outside of work, she loves reading, listening to music, doing crafts, and hiking. She just just moved to the area with her fiancé, but also has a mom, dad, and a little sister.

As a Second Grade Teacher, Mrs. Paine is looking forward to meeting all her students. As a classroom teacher, she centers her instruction around the whole student by bringing the students into the entire learning process in hopes of solidifying their understanding - and making learning fun! 

Mrs. Paine holds a Masters degree in Instructional Design from SUNY Brockport. Before coming to B-B, she was a Fourth Grade Teacher for the Perry Central School District. She also a Kindergarten and first grade classroom aide for the Batavia City School District. 

Outside of school, Mrs. Paine enjoys spending time with her family. She has two little boys who keep her busy. Together, they like to go to the library, go out to eat, and shop the aisles at Target.
