Life is a "Carnival!"
This delightful spectacular is the story of a young orphan named Lili who joins a carnival and learns many life lessons as she navigates the colorful (and sometimes corrupt) world of carnival performers. A pair of puppeteers befriend her, one of whom falls in love with her, despite his best efforts not to. Add a jealous couple into the mix, lots of wonderful circus-style performers, a rowdy team of roustabouts, and a little bit of magic, and you have a story that is timeless.
The lead actors include puppeteers Paul (Mason Fuller) and Jacquot (Jonah Bower); Lili the orphan (Esther Wilkins); ringmaster and carnival owner B. F. Schlegel (Janae Meister); with Brian Ireland as Marco the Magnificent and Stephanie Buell as his incomparable assistant Rosalie, as well as a chorus of 40 of Byron-Bergen’s finest singers, dancers, and actors. Laurence Tallman is the director; with costuming and assistance by Faline Tyler.
Tickets are available in the Jr./Sr. High School Main Office. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $8 for senior citizens and students.
