For several years, the Varsity sports teams have enjoyed a friendly competition for a good cause. Participating teams collect non-perishable food items to benefit the annual Holiday Community Service Project. Each year, the winning team receives a pizza party.

 

This year, athletes from the girls basketball team, the boys basketball team, and the combined swim team participated. After weeks of effort and a whirlwind of counting, sorting, and stacking, the girls basketball team emerged as the winners.

 

Through the combined efforts of all the athletes, Varsity Club representatives proudly delivered almost 1,000 food items, a new record, to the District Office.

 

Congratulations to all for this amazing effort which will make a big impact on community members this holiday season.
