Byron-Bergen Student Learning/Transportation Registration Form

Dear Byron-Bergen students and families,

Last week we released to the public our proposed plan for the upcoming school year. We provided a portal on our website to submit questions and are working hard to answer as many as we can. Many questions and answers are now posted in the FAQ section on our 2020-21 COVID-19 Information page.

To continue moving forward to September, we now need families to complete the Byron-Bergen Student Learning/Transportation Registration Form. A link to the form is available on the District website and through District social media. Please complete the form for each of your students in the Byron-Bergen Central School District. Answers submitted will determine the Fall 2020 learning and transportation options for your student(s). The form must be completed by Friday, August 14th. Anyone unable to complete the form online can contact their students' school main office.

Before you complete the form, please note a few key points:

  • If you have more than one student in the district, they do not need to choose the same learning option.
  • If you choose the In-Person or Hybrid learning option for your student, you may switch to the Fully Remote option at any time.
  • If you choose the Fully Remote option, it is a one semester commitment. If you wish to switch to In-Person or Hybrid, the district cannot guarantee classroom availability.
  • If you choose Bus Transport, you may switch to Parent/Guardian Transport at any time.
  • If you choose Parent/Guardian Transport, it is a one semester commitment. If you wish to change to Bus Transport, the district cannot guarantee bus availability.

I appreciate that this is unlike any decisions that you have probably ever made regarding your students’ education. Please let me assure you that we are working every day to ensure that all of our students, In-Person or Remote, receive the educational and social emotional support to propel them forward in their lives.

Sincerely,

Mickey Edwards
Byron-Bergen Central School District Superintendent
