The school band played MGM anthem as the Empire State Games athletes came forward to receive their medals. The three athletes represented BBCSD good sportsmanship, athleticism, and #BBPride. Congratulations!

After the medal presentation, Mrs. Wahl and some of her sixth grade helpers read the book Personal Space Camp and demonstrated the
importance of respecting other people’s personal space—even when sitting close together like in assemblies. They even had some help from other students who recorded videos on FlipGrid. 

Finally, it was time for the Students of the Month to come forward and be recognized for their great work. Congratulations to everyone!
